Edinburgh ICC
Our role in Edinburgh was as the “expert client”, advising on all aspects of the design, operation and marketing of this new centre.
Having worked extensively on the original development of EICC prior to its opening in 1995, due to its success, and our working relationship with the City, we are now working on an extension. This will expand the exhibition, plenary and breakout space enabling the centre to considerably increase its revenue and the wider economic benefit it brings to the city.
Our work on the additional function space has included writing the brief for the design team, advising them as the design develops, signing off the design stages and producing the economic benefit study. Part of our innovative brief was to include a unique moving floor, to create different formats at the touch of a button. This work is ongoing.
